While working at the airport for the past year this has been my go to lunch/ dinner spot and it never disappoints. Fish is always fresh, chips hand cut and crispy. The family who run the shop are always lovely even when they are slammed during the summer months. I have tried many fish and chip spots around Wellington and this is hands down the best. Pretty good price as well. I’m going to miss this place when I move back to Auckland.

Fish and chips are not my favourite take away, but the battered fish and chips was more than remarkable. The batter was golden crisp and tasty, and so were the chips that were chunky and moist. No tomato sauce or any other required. The service was friendly and prompt and reasonably priced.
